🦊 FocusBuddy – Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 26, 2026

FocusBuddy is a learning app designed for children with ADHD. We take the privacy of children extremely seriously. This policy explains what data FocusBuddy does and does not collect.

What data we collect

None. FocusBuddy collects no personal information whatsoever. The app does not ask for a name, email address, age, location, or any other identifying information.

What data is stored on your device

FocusBuddy saves the following information only on your device, using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves the device and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

All of this data can be erased at any time by deleting the app.

Internet access

FocusBuddy does not connect to the internet. There are no servers, no accounts, and no cloud sync. The app works entirely offline.

Advertising and analytics

FocusBuddy contains no advertisements and no analytics or tracking of any kind. We do not use any third-party SDKs that collect data.

In-app purchases

FocusBuddy does not offer real-money in-app purchases. The in-app "theme shop" uses stars that children earn by completing activities — no payment is ever required or requested.

Children's privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

FocusBuddy is designed for children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations. Because we collect no personal information and have no network connectivity, there is nothing to disclose, share, or delete.

Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL and the effective date above will be updated.
